Originally recorded between 2017 - 2019
both with the current lineup & previous; it’s
the first album by IFQ. All fully improvised, the
original material combining influence from avant garde
‘weird’ to electronic n shoegaze ambience to punk to many
no wave & free jazz heroes was put through production and
effects for the first time. The result is a pretty new filmic sound
and in most places nothing like the live set. The name HardBoiled
comes from the noir fiction genre and loner jazz - like atmosphere
in films based upon it ~-~-~-~-~-~-:_;-_;_-~-~-|-;_;_-;_;:-~-~;_:;~-;
